To Therese's surprise, and that of local residents and businesses, car parking charges have been introduced by Abellio Greater Anglia at Trimley and Halesworth stations.
Therese said: "I’ve contacted the Transport Minister to raise my concern that this has been put in place without any warning, consultation or any proposed reinvestment into improving parking. In fact, the situation at Trimley is truly disgraceful where a local community trust is trying valiantly to restore the building and the Halesworth car park also hosts the museum."
"I am concerned that Abellio is simply trying to get more money out of passengers on one of the most expensive services in the country without any passenger benefits. I’ll post again when I receive a response."
