Are you a pensioner, on a low income and not claiming Pension Credit? If so, then please sign up before the 5th of March as you could also be entitled to a £299 Cost of Living Payment.
Pension Credit is a pensions top up that’s worth an average of £3,900 a year. It’s also a passport to a suite of other benefits such as help with housing costs, council tax reduction schemes, heating bills and a free over-75s TV licence.
There are already 1,997 claimants in receipt of Pension Credit in Suffolk Coastal but we know there is a significant number of people who could claim the extra help but do not currently do so.
