Therese Backs Extension of No Take Zones to Protect the Great British Penguin

As Chair of APPG for Biodiversity in Overseas Territories, Therese has warmly welcomed the government of South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands (SGSSI) extending its No Take Zones in the SGSSI Marine Protected Area, up from an area of 283,000km2 to 449,000km2. Therese made a speech on this in Parliament late last year and lobbied internally when Environment Secretary. More information here.
