Nuclear Minister Visits as Construction Starts on Sizewell C

Therese welcomed the Nuclear & Networks Minister, Andrew Bowie to the Suffolk coast today as work officially began on the construction of Sizewell C.

Therese said: "Today the development consent order was officially triggered, paving the way for formal construction to begin. Bringing long-term energy security to the country and long-term economic security to Leiston and East Suffolk."
