Therese was in Felixstowe today to celebrate the great news that the town's blue flag beaches have, once again, been rated excellent in the 2023 bathing water classifications released last week. The same goes for Southwold.
The new bathing site in the River Deben at Waldringfield requires further work but the additional monitoring at that site means that the Environment Agency, Anglian Water, the East Suffolk Catchment Partnership and the local authority will now make the appropriate interventions.
