£600 million social care winter workforce and capacity boost

The government has announced an additional £600m worth of funding to local authorities - including £4.96m here in Suffolk - to help boost social care workforce capacity and improve retention. This funding sits alongside the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, to build a stronger overall foundation for the health and social care workforce.
