Government Unveils New Tackling Violence Against Women & Girls Strategy

As part of the government's Beating Crime Plan - the Home Office has recently launched a new strategy to tackle violence against women and girls. This follows the huge public conversation and listening exercise undertaken in the wake of the tragic Sarah Everard case.

Therese said: "The new strategy prioritises prevention, supports victims and is committed to pursuing perpetrators. Supporting the action already being taken to improve the criminal justice response to rape."
