Last week the government launched its new Beating Crime Plan - to continue to deliver more police, as well as introducing tougher penalties for offending and better support for victims.
Therese said: "In Suffolk, we’re already benefiting from more police, which has helped significantly reduce the number of county lines drug issues - and Tim Passmore is expecting to recruit another 160 officers over the next three years."
