Suffolk Coastal is set to receive a £1.7m million boost from the government’s Culture Recovery Fund as both Snape Maltings and the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe have bagged money distributed via the Arts Council. The home of Aldeburgh Music at Snape will receive £950k while the Spa Pavilion has been given £746 thousand.
Therese said: “Coronavirus has had a huge impact on our cherished cultural and arts organisations. Help is at hand though through the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund.”
“I’m delighted that both Snape Maltings and the Spa Pavilion have received so much money, which will help keep these amazing venues open and save jobs and livelihoods. I understand that under this fund, our area has been allocated the highest amount outside of a city.”
