Upgrades to Ely and Haughley Junctions Announced

Both Ely Junction in Cambridgeshire and Haughley Junction in Suffolk will be upgraded with funding announced by the Prime Minister today.

Therese said: "The upgrades in capacity to these vital parts of the rail network will vastly improve reliability and resilience. Not only helping passenger trains but freight moving to and from the Port of Felixstowe, the North and the Midlands, as well as the Freeport and Sizewell C."
