Therese has written to the Post Office following the closure of the shop in Rendlesham.
Therese said: "I am concerned to hear the news that the Village Store in Rendlesham has suddenly closed. Considering Rendlesham is a growing community, I'm surprised that the owners couldn't make the shop and Post Office work."
"I congratulate the local community for coming together and setting up a temporary shop, which is a lifeline for those who need it and I hope that they shop will reopen under new ownership in the future. In the meantime, I have already written to the Post Office to discuss temporary solutions."
Therese added: "I sympathise with those who have lost their jobs without any notice and if any of them need my help in talking with Government agencies then I would urge them to contact me."
