A number of constituents have contacted Therese about the recent fuel spill at the Dock Spur roundabout – which caused considerable congestion in Felixstowe.
Therese said: "I have followed this up with both Highways England and Suffolk County Council to understand what emergency planning and resilience measures were in place, what support was provided - and what can be done to ensure that disruption is minimised in any future incident."
"I appreciate that there are various temporary traffic lights currently in use in the town – and have also asked that consideration is made to emergency planning when granting licenses for temporary traffic lights by the Council."
