Therese has been promoted by the new Prime Minister to Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The Suffolk Coastal MP will continue in her current portfolio as Environment Minister looking after the 25-Year Environment Plan, air quality and illegal wildlife trade but with additional seniority within the department.
Therese said: “I’m delighted to continue as Minister for the Environment. After three years in the role it is nice to be recognised – and I’m particularly pleased to be promoted to Minister of State.”
