Primary Care Plan

Today, the Prime Minister announced the government's Primary Care Plan, making it easier to get GP appointments and access medication direct from your pharmacy.

The plan sets out details on:

- Tackling the 8am rush - making it easier for people to contact their GP.

- Providing more services in pharmacies.

- Delivering more GP appointments.

Therese said: "Our £885m plan, will help to cut waiting lists by freeing up around 15 million GP appointments over the next two years, delivering a better service for patients."
