Government Considers Minimum Service Levels in Hospitals during Strikes

Minimum service levels

Around 900,000 appointments have been cancelled due to strike action this year, despite some junior doctors receiving pay rises of over 10 per cent.

To protect patient safety and to ensure people get the vital care they need, the government is consulting on extending minimum service levels during any period of industrial action.
