Today, the government is protecting the price of a pint by increasing the generosity of Draught Relief – meaning the alcohol duty paid for a drink on tap at the pub will be up to 11p less per pint than you would pay in a supermarket. Benefiting 3,365 pubs across the East of England now and in the future.
Therese said: "This has only been possible thanks to our Brexit freedoms with the government committing to a Brexit Pubs Guarantee, so the duty paid at the pub for drinks on tap will always be lower than in the supermarket. Supporting our community pubs, such as the Racehorse Inn in Westhall (pictured). Cheers."
