Consultation Launched to Ban Wet Wipes Containing Plastic

Wet wipes containing plastic break down into microplastics over time, which can be harmful to the environment and human health. This is why Therese, as Environment Secretary, has launched a consultation to ban them across the UK and deliver on the commitments set out in the Government's Plan for Water. More detail here.
