In her role as Secretary of State, Therese today announced new measures to support our fishing industry. Including:
- Making the most of our post-Brexit freedoms.
- Backing our fishing communities with a focus on sustainability.
- A cash boost for infrastructure.
Therese said: "These measures also include a boost for the small under 10-metre vessels which are the lifeblood of our coastal communities, including here in Suffolk. Making use of our post-Brexit quota increases by removing a cap on the amount of quota they can use and opening up more potential income for smaller businesses."
