One of the reasons why Felixstowe won Port Operator of the Year 2017 is because of their commitment to the environment andreducing Co2 emissions.
As Environment Minister, Therese was delighted to announce the winner of the Port's Environmental Award last Friday, which this year went to the Glove Use Reduction Project.
Therese said: "In the week after the Government published the 25 Year Environment Plan focussed on reducing waste, I'm delighted that here in Felixstowe we already have a company committed to corporate responsibility and which takes a more thoughtful approach to the use of resources."
