Therese is calling for local creators to enter Parliament's prestigious Film the House competition, which offers entrants the opportunity put themselves in direct contact with the movers and shakers of the film industry.
Judged initially by Therese, MP's recommendations are put forward for a further round of judging by industry professionals, with prizes provided by industry sponsors, which in 2017 included mentoring from professionals in the film industry, a private screening of the winners' films for friends and family and classification of the winning films by BBFC.
Therese said: "Suffolk has always been a hotbed of creativity – and this competition gives young film-makers the unique opportunity to get in front of industry experts to help them achieve their goals.
I look forwarded to nominating talented individuals from Suffolk Coastal."
