Therese met the Secretary of State for Local Government, Sajid Javid, today to discuss the good news that Suffolk county council's bid to the Housing Infrastructure Fund has successfully reached the next stage.
The Government will now work with the County Council to help develop the business case for the East of Ipswich highway works.
Therese said: "I really welcome this support to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place for themuch-neededd homes to be built."
