Saxmundham Station to be Restored

Therese attended a meeting with representatives of Saxmundham Town Council last week to hear from Greater Anglia about the future of Saxmundham station. This follows the devastating fire which took place earlier this year.

Therese said: "The good news is that Greater Anglia intend to restore the station as a one-storey building with an indoor waiting room, which I'm sure will be welcomed by passengers and residents. At the same time Greater Anglia have also agreed to improve and resurface the car-park, which will help local traffic. Thank you to Greater Anglia for listening."
