Goldstar Ground Opens new Clubhouse

Therese joined the many officials, workers, volunteers and supporters at Felixstowe & Walton United F.C recently as DavidSheepshanks officially opened the new clubhouse and changing pavilion at the Goldstar Ground.

Therese said: "Grassroots football is the bedrock of our national game so I'm delighted that Felixstowe will benefit from such a first class facility – which includes four new changing rooms, new spectator toilets, kitchen facilities and a club room."

"The £540,000 project was made possible thanks to a £270,000 grant from the Premier League and FA Facilities fund and £88,000 from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund. This was topped up through private fundraising and grants from the local councils. I know the club want to encourage more people to use the social club, whether they are football fans or not. Well done to everyone involved."
