Therese Visits Snape Environment Agency Event

Following the flooding in Snape before Christmas, Therese attended the drop-in session put on by the Environment Agency in the Village Hall last week.

Therese said: "This was an important opportunity to speak to people and for local residents to ask questions of the Environment Agency. The details of the schemes to help prevent further breaches are still being finalised."

Therese added: "Whilst I was there I was able to drop in to the newly reopened Crown Inn that was affected by the recent floods. I will continue to follow up with our councils and the Environment Agency to ensure we are doing what we can to restore our sea and river defences locally and looking to support their bids for funding."

Further details on flooding schemes will be posted at -
